Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Napoleon Rode sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 4 minutes, Isidoro Xabat made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cienaguilla's Dante Mercurio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 8th minute, Serafin Gurutz made a precise shot to the right of Dante Mercurio. Cienaguilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Xabat in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Mercurio saved Cienaguilla from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Cienaguilla's zone, Luisito Paul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Mercurio came out of the goal and Luisito Paul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th minute, Serafin Gurutz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 26 minutes, Isidoro Xabat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ombucta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Xabat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Napoleon Rode cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Dante Mercurio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Xabat in the 35th minute of play forced Cienaguilla's goalkeeper Dante Mercurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Ombucta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Gagriel came free, but Jeronimo Ponciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Serafin Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dante Mercurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Jacindo in the 46th minute of play. The Ombucta FC fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Ombucta FC's Isidoro Xabat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Ombucta FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isidoro Xabat made a kick off. In the 58th match minute, Cienaguilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Gaxan to maneuver through the defense. If Isidoro Xabat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel Gaxan charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuel Gaxan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christian Feliu struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Dante Mercurio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ombucta FC. After having played for 66 minutes, Isidoro Xabat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ombucta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Xabat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisito Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Ombucta FC's Isidoro Xabat was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 69th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ombucta FC's zone, Edgardo Breogan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeronimo Ponciano came out of the goal and Edgardo Breogan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeronimo Ponciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Breogan in the 82nd minute of the match. Lorenzo Gagriel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ombucta FC booed when Cienaguilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Loiola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidoro Xabat in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Mercurio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidoro Xabat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Dante Mercurio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isidoro Xabat in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Mercurio saved Cienaguilla from getting behind. The Cienaguilla fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ombucta FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
