In the 52nd minute of the match Arnoldo Gabrio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Mercurio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Nesor during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cienaguilla booed when Atreucó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Nesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute of the match, Edgardo Breogan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isaac Bartuelo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Erubiel Txatxu took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Mercurio. Dante Mercurio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.
