Joel Bixintxo hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Cosimo Cicchini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd match minute, ★ Banfield 1896 ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Astudillo to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes Ritchie AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Kauldi. 25 minutes into the match, Ritchie AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Romelu Lukaku came free, but Alonzo Pagomari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Romelu Lukaku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alonzo Pagomari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romelu Lukaku in the 27th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Romelu Lukaku's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alonzo Pagomari was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Romelu Lukaku ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonzo Pagomari was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Romelu Lukaku managed to get in a good position for a shot. ★ Banfield 1896 ★'s supporters rose to their feet, but Romelu Lukaku was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alonzo Pagomari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, ★ Banfield 1896 ★'s Cosimo Cicchini got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Luisito Ciceron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Marques in the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teo Marques was the one to do the kick off. Ritchie AFC's Alonzo Pagomari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Ritchie AFC from getting a goal against them. Romelu Lukaku who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Alonzo Pagomari when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Oscar Astudillo charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Astudillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Romelu Lukakus short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Alonzo Pagomari to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vinicio Franco had several of the Ritchie AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Alonzo Pagomari as he didn't even see the shot coming. Vinicio Franco struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Alonzo Pagomari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★ Banfield 1896 ★. After 81 played minutes ★ Banfield 1896 ★ got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Cicchini. Alonzo Pagomari was a little too slow when Romelu Lukaku got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romelu Lukaku in the 91st minute of play forced Ritchie AFC's goalkeeper Alonzo Pagomari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
