Roberto Abbondanzieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Oalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Oalo in the 36th minute of play forced Leondo F.C.'s goalkeeper Roberto Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Leondo F.C. getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Modesto Gentza hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Leondo F.C.'s Benito Lluterio threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marciano Ayala, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With his leg Benito Lluterio managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Leondo F.C.'s Marciano Ayala fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 45th match minute, Cachirulo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidio Oalo to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ovidio Oalo to make the kick off. Cachirulo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leondo F.C. the free kick. The Leondo F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marciano Ayala in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Lluterio saved Cachirulo FC from getting behind. If Aquilino Erlantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 90th minute Marciano Ayala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Lluterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aquilino Erlantz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Lluterio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Teo Vermudo's late challenge caught a Leondo F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 94thth minute of the game Marciano Ayala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cachirulo FC's Benito Lluterio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leondo F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cachirulo FC for a fine match.
