Mauricio Perfecto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauricio Perfecto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Pagomari having to interfere. If Mauricio Perfecto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th minute Teo Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Ibon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauricio Perfecto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Enrique Lordi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alonzo Pagomari was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Turi was the one to do the kick off. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, Ritchie AFC's Gaston Artal got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lorenzo Ibon. Teo Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Lorenzo Ibon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bristol City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ritchie AFC for a fine match.
