Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Corcovado's Freddy Elorri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adolfo Onofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Loiola having to interfere. The supporters of GF Cachengue booed when Corcovado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Loreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 minutes, Leandro Mambru made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Corcovado's Honorio Loiola tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, German Frascuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. GF Cachengue's supporters rose to their feet, but German Frascuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Loiola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorio Loiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Mambru in the 23rd minute of play. Luisito Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Elorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Donato Cloyo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Freddy Elorri struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Luisito Matxin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corcovado. Freddy Elorri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Leandro Mambru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Loiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half GF Cachengue were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
In the 53rd minute GF Cachengue were awarded a corner. Prospero Lucado went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on GF Cachengue's corner Prospero Lucado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Honorio Loiola quite easily take care of the ball. Leandro Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Honorio Loiola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Corcovado booed when GF Cachengue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Estefan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 played minutes GF Cachengue got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Nabar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Freddy Elorri in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Matxin saved GF Cachengue from getting behind. Donato Cloyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Corcovado booed when GF Cachengue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascual Leoncio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luisito Matxin. Honorio Loiola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, GF Cachengue's Leandro Mambru got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Honorio Loiola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Onofre in the 86th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Mambru in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorio Loiola saved Corcovado from getting behind. 95 minutes into the game, Leandro Mambru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Honorio Loiola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. GF Cachengue's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
