The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonides Arano was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Leonides Arano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Honorio Loiola. The goal made the score 3-2. Denis Belmiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremias Enetz went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the match, Corcovado's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Arano came free, but Honorio Loiola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Rio de la Plata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anibal Tino to maneuver through the defense. Denis Belmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Loreto in the 69th minute of the match. After 74 minutes, Marcos Gil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corcovado and the Rio de la Plata FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Corcovado getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Marcos Gil hit a great ball. Leonides Arano struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Honorio Loiola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rio de la Plata FC. If Leonides Arano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Asier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Belmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Loreto in the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, Rio de la Plata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Barros to maneuver through the defense. Denis Belmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Madaleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rio de la Plata FC's Anibal Tino got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Madaleno took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Belmiro. Denis Belmiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2.
