Denis Belmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Ostargi in the 35th minute of the match. Ovidio Sidro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Marcelo Asier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celal Sönmezalp having to interfere. After the first half Dolores were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 55 minutes, Anibal Tino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rio de la Plata FC and the Dolores players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dolores's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
