LIMA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corcovado the free kick. A collision led to LIMA FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rodrigo Laurin hit a great ball. In the 15th match minute, LIMA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Laurin to maneuver through the defense. Celestino Ugaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Loiola having to interfere. After 23 minutes of play, LIMA FC's Celestino Ugaitz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Honorio Loiola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Honorio Loiola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Colon, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Celestino Ugaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Loiola having to interfere. When Albino Telo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the LIMA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Telo couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Jeremias Enetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rdth minute of the game Celestino Ugaitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corcovado's Honorio Loiola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th match minute, Corcovado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Enetz to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Freddy Elorri made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Corcovado's zone, Celestino Ugaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Loiola came out of the goal and Celestino Ugaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Celestino Ugaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Celestino Colon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Loiola having to interfere. Freddy Elorri struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Julio Omero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corcovado. After a rather tough play, LIMA FC's Rafael Rozarius got a free kick in the 75th minute. Julio Omero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Madaleno went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 79 played minutes Corcovado got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Loreto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Ugaitz in the 81st minute of play forced Corcovado's goalkeeper Honorio Loiola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd match minute, LIMA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Txordon to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Madaleno in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Omero saved LIMA FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Celestino Ugaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corcovado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Madaleno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. LIMA FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
