Denis Belmiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Generoso Bernaldo's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Denis Belmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Ospetsu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Rio de la Plata FC's Denis Belmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Gora in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Generoso Bernaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Suciedad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Bernaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Rigoberto Garin notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Rio de la Plata FC's Denis Belmiro. Denis Belmiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valentin Txindoki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Denis Belmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Rio de la Plata FC's goalkeeper Denis Belmiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rigoberto Garin.
