An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Shepherd in the 3rd minute of play forced Covello's goalkeeper Ramon Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Covello's Ricardo Fortun got a free kick in the 8th minute. Ricardo Fortun charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Fortun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Covello getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ricardo Fortun hit a great ball. Christian Umbruso kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ricardo Fortun kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Covello's zone, Cleto Tome stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Rafe came out of the goal and Cleto Tome tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute Ezequiel Shepherd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Rafe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramon Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Shepherd in the 21st minute of the match. Gerardo Lobo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Mikeldi went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ezequiel Shepherd took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Rafe. Ramon Rafe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ramon Rafe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Shepherd, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Zeledon Bonadona hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Aquiles Iraunkor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rey de Copas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Covello the free kick. A collision led to Rey de Copas getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Aquiles Iraunkor hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, Cleto Tome was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 36th match minute, Rey de Copas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Tome to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the match, Rey de Copas's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Cordarrell came free, but Gerardo Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Ladislao Rey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Damian Mikeldi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th match minute, Covello was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Bonadona to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Aquilino Manni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rey de Copas's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquilino Manni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Rafe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ezequiel Shepherd was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Tadeo Vitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Cleto Tome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Rafe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rey de Copas's Gerardo Lobo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Rey de Copas from getting a goal against them. If Damian Mikeldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rey de Copas's Gualterio Frederico was substituted for Aquilino Manni. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Lapurdi got free with Gerardo Lobo in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ramon Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Shepherd in the 87th minute of the match. Ramon Rafe came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Rey de Copas's Gualterio Frederico. But to his dismay, Gualterio Frederico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ramon Rafe came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rey de Copas's Gualterio Frederico.
