Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Juan Lapurdi got the match started through his kick off. Ramon Rafe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gualterio Xabier went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Juan Lapurdi came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Covello fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Lapurdi couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Xabier in the 8th minute of play forced Covello's goalkeeper Ramon Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 9 played minutes Covello got a freekick which was hit by Damian Mikeldi. After 11 minutes, Everardo Ursino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Covello and the Club Atlético Tigre players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético Tigre booed when Covello was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Ursino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gualterio Xabier scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ramon Rafe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Club Atlético Tigre getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Pastor Luix hit a great ball. Covello's Juan Lapurdi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 37th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 39th minute, Romulo Eskuin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Covello's zone, Pastor Luix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Rafe came out of the goal and Pastor Luix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Tigre's Fabricio Peyo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Ramon Rafe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabricio Peyo in the 70th minute. Paulo José Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Lapurdi, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
