Angelo Caradaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Evis in the 20th minute of the match. Filiberto Gorosti took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Eli. With a little luck, Altona AFC's Hugo Eli got control of the ball when Filiberto Gorosti tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Altona AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiberto Gorosti made a kick off. After 53 played minutes Simbol got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Nofre. When Mateo Gustau came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Altona AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Gustau couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Evis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Angelo Caradaro made a huge save. With 66 minutes on the clock, Eriberto Ruisko commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Simbol fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Altona AFC a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Modesto Afonso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Simbol's Angelo Caradaro. 1-3.
