Spectators: 7427 (Terracing: 5571, Seating: 1708, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonel Vargas started the match with the kick off. Jeronimo Jeraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Godfredo Bortzaioriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17thth minute of the game Leonel Vargas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CALRG's Godfredo Bortzaioriz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CALRG's Godfredo Bortzaioriz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save CALRG from getting a goal against them. Jeronimo Jeraldo in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Godfredo Bortzaioriz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 25 minutes into the game, Leonel Vargas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Godfredo Bortzaioriz. Leonel Vargas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Godfredo Bortzaioriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Vargas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Leonel Vargas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Godfredo Bortzaioriz. The goal made the score 3-1. If Jesus Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benigno Pedroso to strike the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Jesus Rico in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sportivo FC's Jonathan Mirande. When Jesus Rico fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CALRG's protests and gave Jesus Rico a yellow card for diving instead. Godfredo Bortzaioriz came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo FC's Jeronimo Jeraldo. But to his dismay, Jeronimo Jeraldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeronimo Jeraldo in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godfredo Bortzaioriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of CALRG booed when Sportivo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Sidoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesus Rico, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 74 minutes of play, Sportivo FC's Leonel Vargas made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godfredo Bortzaioriz was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Sportivo FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Luciano Frans hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Luciano Frans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 minutes of play, Sportivo FC's Jeronimo Jeraldo made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godfredo Bortzaioriz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the match, CALRG's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Vargas came free, but Godfredo Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Leonel Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
