In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Chiva Di Meola's goalkeeper Sergio Timo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 5 played minutes La Chiva Di Meola got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Ilazki. Guido Frances made in the 7th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Denis Gurutz however managed to control. Clodoveo Nisio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyprian Latocha having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, KFRV Xeneize's Sébastian Maradona made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergio Timo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 33 minutes, Jairo Ciano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFRV Xeneize and the La Chiva Di Meola players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, KFRV Xeneize's Jairo Ciano got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Sergio Timo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Eleazar in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Silvio Hotz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cyprian Latocha. The goal made the score 1-2. Carmelo Madaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sébastian Maradona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Timo having to make a save. The La Chiva Di Meola players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KFRV Xeneize were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvio Hotz was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, La Chiva Di Meola's goal looked a bit too open when Sébastian Maradona came free, but Sergio Timo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cyprian Latocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Nisio in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Domingos Eleazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyprian Latocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Nisio, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, KFRV Xeneize's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Hotz came free, but Cyprian Latocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot was stopped by Sergio Timo but with some difficulty. Björn Ragnarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sergio Timo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Domingos Eleazar's late challenge caught a La Chiva Di Meola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingos Eleazar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th match minute, KFRV Xeneize was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Eleazar to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th play minute Moises Dolcet came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sergio Timo. 1-4. In the 92nd match minute, KFRV Xeneize was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Ciano to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of KFRV Xeneize booed when La Chiva Di Meola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Nisio didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Chiva Di Meola's Silvio Hotz got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KFRV Xeneize had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
