After 22 played minutes La Chiva Di Meola got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Nisio. With his leg Sergio Timo managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Galaxi FC's Jonathan Sierra fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Arturo Ignado hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 35 played minutes, Galaxi FC's Ambrosio Estefan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sergio Timo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galaxi FC reached it. In the 40th minute, Jonathan Sierra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Timo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Silvio Hotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Sergio Timo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Quirze, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, La Chiva Di Meola's Arturo Ignado got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes, Galaxi FC's Ambrosio Estefan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sergio Timo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galaxi FC reached it. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Sierra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Timo was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Felix Frutos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sergio Timo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Quirze in the 63rd minute of the match. If Fabian Quirze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Galaxi FC's Jonathan Sierra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergio Timo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Enmanuel in the 76th minute of play forced La Chiva Di Meola's goalkeeper Sergio Timo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Timo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Sierra's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Aurelio Gutierrez charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelio Gutierrez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aurelio Gutierrez hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Fabian Quirze came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Galaxi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Quirze couldn't finish the play. Raul Dimas kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Galaxi FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
