Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) CALRG's Benigno Pedroso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Benigno Pedroso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Hitzeder in the 17th minute of play forced CALRG's goalkeeper Godfredo Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benigno Pedroso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascual Hitzeder showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. If Benigno Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in San Loresta Futbol Club's zone, Benito Sanduru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Asteri came out of the goal and Benito Sanduru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justo Asteri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Pedroso in the 40th minute of the match. When Saturnino Chabier fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Loresta Futbol Club's protests and gave Saturnino Chabier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, San Loresta Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Chabier to maneuver through the defense. Benigno Pedroso struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Justo Asteri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CALRG. CALRG's supporters rose to their feet, but Benigno Pedroso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justo Asteri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 81 minutes into the match, CALRG's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Abechuco came free, but Godfredo Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Hitzeder in the 84th minute of play forced CALRG's goalkeeper Godfredo Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Atarratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
