To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Paternal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Abechuco came free, but Feliciano Xabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliciano Xabier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Generoso Abechuco went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Feliciano Xabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Hitzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 minutes, Generoso Abechuco made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Paternal FC's Feliciano Xabier tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Serafin Venceslas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Feliciano Xabier firmly grabbed it by the left post.
