Damaso Aurken came out of the goal and Julian Arotza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Uno al Hilo's Marcelo Onofre dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Domingos Geleberto kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. If Aurelio Blasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flávio Toldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Geleberto in the 47th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelio Blasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Uno al Hilo booed when Club Alquimista Grow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uno al Hilo's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Arotza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damaso Aurken breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Domingos Geleberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Uno al Hilo lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
