Kane's Guido Vitin got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th match minute, Kane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Toribio to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Menendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leandro Loramendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Benet having to interfere. The supporters of Boca jrs booed when Kane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Vitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Boca jrs's zone, Leandro Loramendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Benet came out of the goal and Leandro Loramendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Esteve Benet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Menendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Kane's Prospero Menendo in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boca jrs's goalie prevented a goal. 38 minutes into the game, Gabriel Venerando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca jrs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kane the free kick. 41 minutes into the match, Boca jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Menendo came free, but Esteve Benet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Rami during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Kane got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Rami. If Adolfo Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Arixo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Esteve Benet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kane.

Esteve Benet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Loramendi in the 54th minute of play. If Igor Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Jorrin kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, one of Kane:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Boca jrs. Igor Theobald stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bolli Tomishko. 1-1. Adolfo Baldovino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Kane's Prospero Menendo in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boca jrs's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 79 in the game by Prospero Menendo from a close distance when the talented Esteve Benet managed to make a qualified save. Boca jrs's players were relieved. Esteve Benet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Prospero Menendo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 85 minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Prospero Menendo made a precise shot to the right of Esteve Benet. Boca jrs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Kane's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
