With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agustin Ayala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zhuo Wen Zhen, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anselmo Gar to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Kaiken's Narciso Aurre got a free kick in the 57th minute. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the game, Kaiken's Zhuo Wen Zhen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amado Katia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 75th minute, Alejo Harkaitz made a precise shot to the right of Agustin Ayala. The Odontoclasto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Katia should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Odontoclasto booed when Kaiken was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Arixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of Odontoclasto's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Odontoclasto may have spent more time on the ball, but Kaiken were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
