The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lázaro Veremundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Luciano Aguilera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Fiz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leon Quinito showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 58 minute of play. Luciano Aguilera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Rigoberto Fiz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Boca Juniors's Eleuterio Bembe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Frederico in the 70th minute of play. Eustaquio Lixandro kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Aguilera got free with Rigoberto Fiz in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st match minute, Metal Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Montrel to maneuver through the defense.
