After 2 played minutes Metal Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Raymon. In the 7th minute Eustaquio Lixandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Ebardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Anacleto Ur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Teodosio Hanot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inoxidables's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodosio Hanot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Fiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evelio Ebardo was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Eustaquio Lixandro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eustaquio Lixandro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After a rather tough play, Metal Fútbol Club's Mauricio Frederico got a free kick in the 18th minute. With an all-out effort, Metal Fútbol Club's Evelio Ebardo threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eustaquio Lixandro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Teodosio Hanot charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodosio Hanot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Metal Fútbol Club booed when Inoxidables was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Presebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Eustaquio Lixandro managed to get in a good position for a shot. The wind increased when Eustaquio Lixandro made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Metal Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Raymon. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anacleto Ur in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Fiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Evelio Ebardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evaristo Montrel went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Inoxidables were furious when Gogo Confesor was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 65th minute, one of Inoxidables:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inoxidables. Inoxidables's Evelio Ebardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Lixandro in the 73rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Cecilio Larpe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Fiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Evelio Ebardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Lixandro in the 88th minute of the match. Evelio Ebardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Frederico, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rigoberto Fiz came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Inoxidables's Teodosio Hanot. But to his dismay, Teodosio Hanot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. The Metal Fútbol Club players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
