Lucas Eudoxio hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes Game Theory Optimal got a freekick which was hit by Damian Normando. Dep.Cristal's Candido Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Normando in the 35th minute of play. After 36 minutes, Faustino Rainerio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dep.Cristal and the Game Theory Optimal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Damian Normando was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.

Natalio Camerino made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Remigio Sendoa sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rd minute Wilfredo Nafarroa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Dep.Cristal booed when Game Theory Optimal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 played minutes Remigio Sendoa rounded Game Theory Optimal's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Eustacio Orlanda's late challenge caught a Dep.Cristal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustacio Orlanda helped the player get up and apologised. The Game Theory Optimal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dep.Cristal's performance. The match ended with a win for Dep.Cristal.
