The Dep.Cristal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Candido Burni should have stopped the shot. After 10 played minutes Dep.Cristal got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Nafarroa. Ladislao Fiz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Candido Burni. Dep.Cristal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Chale in the 16th minute of play forced Dep.Cristal's goalkeeper Candido Burni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Sendoa in the 20th minute of play forced Darregueira AFC's goalkeeper Patricio Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Candido Burni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Claude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Dep.Cristal getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Alvaro Nafarroa hit a great ball. Dep.Cristal's Candido Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Pelagius in the 26th minute of play. Ladislao Fiz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 38th minute, Remigio Sendoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Dep.Cristal's Remigio Sendoa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patricio Eliazar. Patricio Eliazar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Candido Burni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Millrick, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Dep.Cristal's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Millrick came free, but Candido Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Burni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Pelagius in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remigio Sendoa made a kick off. Remigio Sendoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Eliazar having to interfere. Candido Burni was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Paolo Pelagius capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paolo Pelagius really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Lleir during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Darregueira AFC's Victoriano Lleir got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute, Remigio Sendoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remigio Sendoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Eliazar having to interfere. Patricio Eliazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Sendoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Claude kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Manuel Millrick could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Candido Burni however easily saved by the left post.
