Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) GPS FC's Juan Edwardo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, GPS FC's Tomas Hernando got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute, Placido Diagur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, GPS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Sendoa came free, but Godfredo Laurendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Burni came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by GPS FC's Agustin Marin. But to his dismay, Agustin Marin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the last second Candido Burni throw himself and got hold of the ball when Juan Edwardo in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 34th minute, GPS FC's Juan Edwardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Candido Burni. Candido Burni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Candido Burni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Elodio in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of GPS FC booed when Dep.Cristal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Rainerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes of play, Dep.Cristal's Remigio Sendoa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godfredo Laurendi was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remigio Sendoa was the one to do the kick off. Remigio Sendoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dep.Cristal's Remigio Sendoa was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 62nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 66th minute, Esteban Reynardo made a precise shot to the right of Candido Burni. Dep.Cristal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Sendoa in the 70th minute of play forced GPS FC's goalkeeper Godfredo Laurendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gogo Txurio made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Agustin Marin immediately put the ball in play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind GPS FC's goalkeeper Godfredo Laurendi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gogo Txurio made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dep.Cristal's Placido Diagur. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Juan Edwardo put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Candido Burni. Juan Edwardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GPS FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
