Spectators: 7165 (Terracing: 5540, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Remigio Sendoa made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd match minute, Northampton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernabe Nisio to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remigio Sendoa in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Cordearo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute, Filomeno Manni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigio Sendoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Txerran in the 21st minute of play forced Dep.Cristal's goalkeeper Candido Burni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Remigio Sendoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remigio Sendoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute, Remigio Sendoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faustino Rainerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remigio Sendoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Cordearo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Sendoa got free with Eliseo Cordearo in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Northampton's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Remigio Sendoa 44 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Txerran made a kick off. Eliseo Cordearo came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dep.Cristal's Remigio Sendoa. But to his dismay, Remigio Sendoa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 55 played minutes Dep.Cristal got a freekick which was hit by Placido Diagur. In the 62nd minute, Remigio Sendoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Northampton's Delmiro Cordarius got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Dep.Cristal getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Remigio Sendoa hit a great ball. Placido Diagur hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Delmiro Cordarius's late challenge caught a Dep.Cristal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmiro Cordarius helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Northampton getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Delmiro Cordarius hit a great ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Faustino Rainerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dep.Cristal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Rainerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmiro Cordarius got free with Candido Burni in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the match, Remigio Sendoa notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Northampton's Eliseo Cordearo. Eliseo Cordearo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute Jeremias Bizi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Candido Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Northampton were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Dep.Cristal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ladislao Santiago took the corner. Ladislao Santiago made a great header on Northampton's corner, it was just that Dep.Cristal's Candido Burni managed to reach the ball for a save. Candido Burni made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Delmiro Cordarius sent off a good shot on target. Placido Diagur kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Dep.Cristal players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
