Fernando Jerardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Bartuelo in the 4th minute of the match. When Guido Oro came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Club Olimpikus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Oro couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Bartuelo in the 15th minute of play forced Club Olimpikus's goalkeeper Fernando Jerardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Raphael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Bartolo Illan made a huge save. In the 31st minute Robustiano Pello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Jerardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Mazarredo FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Mazarredo FC's Robustiano Pello looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Pello in the 37th minute of play forced Club Olimpikus's goalkeeper Fernando Jerardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Robustiano Pello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes, Maximino Magdaleno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Olimpikus and the Mazarredo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maximino Magdaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The wind increased when Zeledon Bartuelo made the kick off in the second half. Club Olimpikus's Fernando Jerardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Club Olimpikus from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the match, Club Olimpikus's goalkeeper Fernando Jerardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robustiano Pello. Robustiano Pello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Fernando Jerardo made a huge save. When Raul Fix fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mazarredo FC's protests and gave Raul Fix a yellow card for diving instead. Raul Fix kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Fernando Jerardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robustiano Pello went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Fernando Jerardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Bartuelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Robustiano Pello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Olimpikus's Fernando Jerardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Bartuelo in the 83rd minute of play. Robustiano Pello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Jerardo having to interfere. Raul Fix kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Fernando Jerardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Bartuelo in the 94th minute of play. Fernando Jerardo made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Robustiano Pello sent off a good shot on target. The Mazarredo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mazarredo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
