Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Moises Txerran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Illan having to interfere. In the 6th minute of the match Bernabe Nisio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartolo Illan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Moises Txerran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Bartolo Illan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Northampton's zone, Zeledon Bartuelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Cordearo came out of the goal and Zeledon Bartuelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th match minute, Northampton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Bizi to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Northampton's zone, Robustiano Pello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Cordearo came out of the goal and Robustiano Pello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the game, Angelo Darien was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mazarredo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Northampton the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mazarredo FC's Angelo Darien got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Mazarredo FC got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Endura. When Segundo Endura fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mazarredo FC's protests and gave Segundo Endura a yellow card for diving instead. Segundo Endura hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Moises Txerran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartolo Illan was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Delmiro Cordarius struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Bartolo Illan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Northampton. Northampton's Moises Txerran got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Northampton getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Rodrigo Cordarryl hit a great ball. Filomeno Manni charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Manni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eliseo Cordearo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robustiano Pello in the 46th minute. If Zeledon Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Txerran to strike the kick off in the second half. Robustiano Pello struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Eliseo Cordearo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mazarredo FC. 55 minutes into the match, Northampton's Delmiro Cordarius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bartolo Illan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zeledon Bartuelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eliseo Cordearo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zeledon Bartuelo ran back to his position shaking his head. Delmiro Cordarius in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bartolo Illan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Zeledon Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute Zeledon Bartuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Cordarius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bartolo Illan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Mazarredo FC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Fix. When Delmiro Cordarius came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Northampton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Cordarius couldn't finish the play. Raul Fix kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mazarredo FC's Edgard Nevada got a free kick in the 86th minute. Bartolo Illan came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Northampton's Delmiro Cordarius. But to his dismay, Delmiro Cordarius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.
