Candido Chale hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Manuel Millrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Pelagius in the 20th minute of play forced Game Theory Optimal's goalkeeper Natalio Camerino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Oscar Telmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Darregueira AFC's zone, Wilfredo Nafarroa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Eliazar came out of the goal and Wilfredo Nafarroa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilfredo Nafarroa in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Eliazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Millrick in the 39th minute of play forced Game Theory Optimal's goalkeeper Natalio Camerino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Darregueira AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Segundo Henric hit a great ball. Oscar Telmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Patricio Eliazar made a huge save. A hard shot by Raul Romero from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Patricio Eliazar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilfredo Nafarroa made a kick off. Segundo Henric thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Patricio Eliazar, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Darregueira AFC's zone, Oscar Telmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Eliazar came out of the goal and Oscar Telmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 68 minutes, Wilfredo Nafarroa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Game Theory Optimal and the Darregueira AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Wilfredo Nafarroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natalio Camerino made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Manuel Millrick sent off a good shot on target. When Game Theory Optimal's Wilfredo Nafarroa in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Darregueira AFC's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilfredo Nafarroa in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patricio Eliazar saved Darregueira AFC from getting behind. In the 78thth minute of the game Wilfredo Nafarroa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Darregueira AFC's Patricio Eliazar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 minutes, Wilfredo Nafarroa made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Darregueira AFC's Patricio Eliazar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 85 minutes, Manuel Millrick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Darregueira AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Millrick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Game Theory Optimal were the better team. Game Theory Optimal's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
