Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After 5 played minutes Northampton got a freekick which was hit by Leon Bazil. When Albino Licerio came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Legend Never Die FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Licerio couldn't finish the play. In the 7th match minute, Northampton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Manni to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamin Egun during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Legend Never Die FC's Benjamin Egun got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute of the match Northampton got a corner. Legend Never Die FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ladislao Santiago ran over to the corner to take the kick. Moises Txerran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Marcelino Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Legend Never Die FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Etxepare to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Northampton getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Filomeno Manni hit a great ball. Albino Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Northampton's Bernabe Nisio got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legend Never Die FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Boniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albino Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the game, Legend Never Die FC's Abel Eli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Cordearo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Legend Never Die FC booed when Northampton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Bazil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Licerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Moises Txerran scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelino Boniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Legend Never Die FC's zone, Moises Txerran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Boniel came out of the goal and Moises Txerran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Abel Eli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eliseo Cordearo. Northampton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Eli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Txerran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Delmiro Cordarius sped through Legend Never Die FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelino Boniel.
