Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilfredo Nafarroa started the match with the kick off. Natalio Camerino was a little too slow when Cecilio Birila got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 2nd minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bebeto Catarinense got free with Natalio Camerino in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Jimeno Sarracino fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mogigasta's protests and gave Jimeno Sarracino a yellow card for diving instead. Filiberto Otoniel came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Game Theory Optimal's Wilfredo Nafarroa. But to his dismay, Wilfredo Nafarroa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 18th match minute, Game Theory Optimal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Nafarroa to maneuver through the defense. Wilfredo Nafarroa charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfredo Nafarroa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 24 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Nafarroa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Filiberto Otoniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filiberto Otoniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Nafarroa in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Game Theory Optimal getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Oscar Telmo hit a great ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Game Theory Optimal's goalkeeper Natalio Camerino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bebeto Catarinense to make the kick off. Julian Gabirel kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Cecilio Birila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mogigasta's Vicente Idacio got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ceferino Perrando's late challenge caught a Mogigasta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Perrando helped the player get up and apologised. Ceferino Perrando hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match Virgilio Gurutz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natalio Camerino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Jimeno Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filiberto Otoniel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oscar Telmo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 81 minute of play. Vicente Idacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Camerino having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Game Theory Optimal walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
