Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Bebeto Catarinense made the kick off and thus started the match. Jacinto Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Bartolo Illan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mazarredo FC's zone, Jacinto Cortez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartolo Illan came out of the goal and Jacinto Cortez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mazarredo FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Bebeto Catarinense scored to the left of an out of position Bartolo Illan, making the score, 1-0. In the 14th match minute, Mazarredo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Pello to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Cecilio Birila kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bartolo Illan. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Bebeto Catarinenses short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Bartolo Illan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Catarinense in the 29th minute of play forced Mazarredo FC's goalkeeper Bartolo Illan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartolo Illan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Catarinense in the 33rd minute of play. Bebeto Catarinense had several of the Mazarredo FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Bartolo Illan as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Mogigasta's Jimeno Sarracino got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th minute Zeledon Bartuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Otoniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bebeto Catarinense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Bartolo Illan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacinto Cortez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bartolo Illan. That made the score 5-0 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeledon Bartuelo was the one to do the kick off. Bartolo Illan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Bartolo Illan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bebeto Catarinense's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. During the 57th minute of the match Edgard Nevada completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edgard Nevada a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Mazarredo FC's Edgard Nevada got a free kick in the 58th minute. Bebeto Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute, Bebeto Catarinense made a precise shot to the right of Bartolo Illan. Mazarredo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. If Bebeto Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bartolo Illan came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Mogigasta's Bebeto Catarinense. But to his dismay, Bebeto Catarinense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. When Segundo Endura fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mazarredo FC's protests and gave Segundo Endura a yellow card for diving instead. 75 minutes into the match, Mazarredo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bebeto Catarinense came free, but Bartolo Illan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Illan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mogigasta's Bebeto Catarinense shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Bebeto Catarinense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mazarredo FC's Bartolo Illan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bartolo Illan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vicente Idacio's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Bartolo Illan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Catarinense in the 89th minute of the match. If Vicente Idacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Mogigasta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
