Macit Doğa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matías Donoso went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 7th minute Matías Donoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Macit Doğa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Ermegildo Nahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Castelar Impact booed when Ranquil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Semeghin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matías Donoso struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Macit Doğa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castelar Impact. Francisco Chuan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Nahia in the 19th minute of the match. After 20 minutes, Genaro Manuelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castelar Impact and the Ranquil players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Castelar Impact was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Manuelo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Donoso in the 23rd minute of play forced Ranquil's goalkeeper Macit Doğa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Castelar Impact's Matías Donoso made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Macit Doğa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Ranquil's zone, Matías Donoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Macit Doğa came out of the goal and Matías Donoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Amador Urbes made a precise shot to the right of Macit Doğa. Ranquil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After having played for 38 minutes, Ermegildo Nahia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranquil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Nahia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Ranquil's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Donoso came free, but Macit Doğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lázaro Tebaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Francisco Chuan made a huge save. After 44 minutes of play, Ranquil's Lázaro Tebaldo made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Chuan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oscar Mateus kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matías Donoso was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Amador Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castelar Impact's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amador Urbes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 52 played minutes Ranquil got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Mateus. In the 53rd minute of the match Jaime Hori shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Macit Doğa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Octavio Rey fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ranquil's protests and gave Octavio Rey a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Miguel Havier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ranquil's Macit Doğa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Donoso in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Ermegildo Nahia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Chuan. Castelar Impact's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ermegildo Nahia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Amador Urbes took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Macit Doğa. Macit Doğa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. In the 65th minute, Ermegildo Nahia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66th play minutes Matías Donoso shot 3-5, a short shot which went by Macit Doğa and just under the crossbar into goal. 70 minutes into the match, Castelar Impact's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Nahia came free, but Francisco Chuan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Castelar Impact's Genaro Manuelo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Castelar Impact's Ramiro Gonza was substituted for Jaime Hori. In the 72nd match minute, Castelar Impact was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Manuelo to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Castelar Impact booed when Ranquil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Mateus didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 77 minutes on the clock, Oscar Mateus commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ranquil! In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Castelar Impact. Matías Donoso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Macit Doğa. 3-6. Clodoveo Francho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Macit Doğa made a huge save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Tebaldo couldn't finish the play.
