Leonardo Burutzagi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 14 minutes into the match, Cosme Matxin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Burutzagi. Unidos de Minsal F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosme Matxin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Ricardo Haimar scored 0-4 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Burutzagi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucas Eguzki struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Leonardo Burutzagi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hornillos. After a rather tough play, Unidos de Minsal F.C's Bartolo Su got a free kick in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Siro Handi in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Umea saved Hornillos from getting behind. Hugo Umea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Handi, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Erasmo Ceandro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Leonardo Burutzagi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Karmel in the 31st minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Siro Handi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hornillos's Hugo Umea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelo Cordairo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Haimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Burutzagi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Eguzki in the 43rd minute of play forced Unidos de Minsal F.C's goalkeeper Leonardo Burutzagi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Umea came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Unidos de Minsal F.C's Siro Handi. But to his dismay, Siro Handi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Faustino Crescencio kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Unidos de Minsal F.C booed when Hornillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Ongile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Burutzagi was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Lucas Eguzki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucas Eguzki really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Ricardo Haimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonardo Burutzagi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucas Eguzki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 65 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Haimar got free with Leonardo Burutzagi in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artemio Pacho in the 79th minute of play forced Unidos de Minsal F.C's goalkeeper Leonardo Burutzagi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
