Christian Herrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Hotz in the 8th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Maximo Orixe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Romelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Fulgencio Hotz struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Christian Herrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Babelion AFC. Babelion AFC's Teodoro Romelio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Babelion AFC from getting a goal against them. After 27 minutes, Wilfredo Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Babelion AFC and the Avestruz AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Babelion AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Wilfredo Ramos hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Hotz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Herrera. Avestruz AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulgencio Hotz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Ceferino Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Avestruz AFC's Alfredo Jusepe got a free kick in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximo Orixe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fulgencio Hotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Christian Herrera made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Dodorol got free with Christian Herrera in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulgencio Hotz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Herrera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Avestruz AFC's Christian Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Ramos in the 64th minute of play. After 64 played minutes Avestruz AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Criston. Fulgencio Hotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Christian Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceferino Valente's late challenge caught a Babelion AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Valente helped the player get up and apologised. Ceferino Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Teodoro Romelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Valente in the 76th minute of play. Fulgencio Hotz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fulgencio Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fulgencio Hotz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Christian Herrera made a huge save. Teodoro Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Valente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, Babelion AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Ramos to maneuver through the defense. After 93 minutes of play, Avestruz AFC's Ceferino Valente made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Romelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Avestruz AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
