Cristian Arotza kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Enrique Milio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Sergi in the 37th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carreras fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 39 minutes, Massao Arena's Bruno Arixo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Enrique Milio. Teodosio Sergi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 played minutes Massao Arena got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Ishmael.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodosio Sergi was the one to do the kick off. Teodosio Sergi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Milio having to interfere. If Ambrosio Odon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Enrique Milio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Arixo in the 65th minute of the match. Enrique Milio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Sergi, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Teodosio Sergi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Milio having to interfere. The supporters of Massao Arena booed when Carreras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Lalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Massao Arena's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
