In the 15th minute, Marek Poremba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matute Fc's Marcelo Tibalt was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 17th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Tambillos booed when Matute Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Godoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Tibalt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Anacleto Mergildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelo Tibalt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anacleto Mergildo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Marcelo Tibalt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Anacleto Mergildo. Marcelo Tibalt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tambillos's zone, Marcelo Tibalt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anacleto Mergildo came out of the goal and Marcelo Tibalt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Eustacio Manuelo made the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes in the game, Eustacio Manuelo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Brama Brama having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Matute Fc got a freekick which was hit by Marek Poremba. After some careless play in the Tambillos defense, Marcelo Tibalt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anacleto Mergildo. The Tambillos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anacleto Mergildo should have stopped the shot. Rodrigo Feliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anacleto Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Tibalt, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelo Tibalt in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anacleto Mergildo saved Tambillos from getting behind. In the 79th match minute, Matute Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolikas Liolidis to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Matute Fc getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Marek Poremba hit a great ball. If Eustacio Manuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Urtungo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gert Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th match minute, Matute Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Lehen to maneuver through the defense. Tambillos's Eustacio Manuelo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Matute Fc were the better team. Matute Fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
