Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 85) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mariano Montrel made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Fiambalá booed when Carreras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Vallmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fiambalá's Amado Katia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Fiambalá from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute Higinio Romo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Katia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Silverio Lalla notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Fiambalá's Amado Katia. Amado Katia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16thth minute of the game Silverio Lalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fiambalá's Amado Katia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 18 played minutes Carreras got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Mundo. If Jaime Mundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute of the match, Silverio Lalla got a very nice opportunity to score, but Amado Katia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Silverio Lalla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Amado Katia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Amado Katia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Vallmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carreras's Jaime Mundo got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amado Katia made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Ambrosio Odon sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute Silverio Lalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Katia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Mundo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amado Katia came out and tried to block the shot, but Jaime Mundo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 38th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silverio Lalla made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jaime Mundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amado Katia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Mundo in the 55th minute of play. Amado Katia came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Carreras's Jaime Mundo. But to his dismay, Jaime Mundo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Silverio Lalla kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Jaime Mundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Carreras's Jaime Mundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amado Katia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Odon in the 81st minute of play forced Fiambalá's goalkeeper Amado Katia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Katia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Romo in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Fiambalá's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Lalla came free, but Amado Katia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amado Katia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Lalla went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Mariano Montrel hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Carreras had played much better football throughout.
