Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eustacio Manuelo started the match with the kick off. When Freddy Leobardo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the los troncos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Leobardo couldn't finish the play. Freddy Leobardo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Elvio Urtungo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Miguel Timo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Rigoberto Fernanco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the los troncos and the Tambillos players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Cleto Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 15 minutes, Elvio Urtungo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tambillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Urtungo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, los troncos's Freddy Leobardo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anacleto Mergildo. Anacleto Mergildo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Tambillos's goalkeeper Anacleto Mergildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cleto Elazar. los troncos's Miguel Timo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Urtungo in the 31st minute of play. Anacleto Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Leobardo in the 33rd minute of play. Cleto Elazar's late challenge caught a Tambillos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cleto Elazar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Cleto Elazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Cleto Elazar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Anacleto Mergildo. The goal made the score 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Freddy Leobardo to strike the kick off in the second half. Cleto Elazar scored 3-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anacleto Mergildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Tambillos getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Eustacio Manuelo hit a great ball. After having played for 60 minutes, Elvio Urtungo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tambillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Urtungo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anacleto Mergildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Elazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th match minute, Tambillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Weather to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Freddy Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Mergildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urbano Hug kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Elvio Urtungo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Elvio Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 83rd minute of the match Ernesto Ralondo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ernesto Ralondo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Anacleto Mergildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Elazar in the 85th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Tambillos's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Elazar came free, but Anacleto Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tambillos's Teobaldo Cheche got a free kick in the 91st minute. Elvio Urtungo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tambillos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for los troncos.
