Tala's Javier Venceslas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Tala from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Teodosio Sergi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Massao Arena's supporters rose to their feet, but Teodosio Sergi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Venceslas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 13 played minutes Tala got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Gorka. Tobias Vela charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Vela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The goalkeeper, Javier Venceslas, was totally fooled by Massao Arena's Bruno Arixo, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 20th minute, Cristian Arotza fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Javier Venceslas, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Massao Arena's zone, Emanuel Omero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elpidio Mannie came out of the goal and Emanuel Omero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Cristian Arotza sped through Tala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Javier Venceslas. Emanuel Omero scored 2-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Mannie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Javier Venceslas was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Teodosio Sergi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodosio Sergi really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. With a little luck, Tala's Javier Venceslas got control of the ball when Cristian Arotza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teodosio Sergi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cristian Arotza made the kick off in the second half. Elpidio Mannie was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emanuel Omero showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 54 minute of play. In the 58th minute Teodosio Sergi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Venceslas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Lino Cristofor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Astor Unax in the 61st minute really tested Elpidio Mannie's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Omero in the 63rd minute of play forced Massao Arena's goalkeeper Elpidio Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Emanuel Omero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elpidio Mannie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Omero, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Cristian Arotza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tala's Javier Venceslas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Tala's Elpidio Mannie threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emanuel Omero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Astor Unax could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Elpidio Mannie made a huge save. Emanuel Omero kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Emanuel Omero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elpidio Mannie. Massao Arena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Omero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. When Marcelino Gorka was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. The supporters of Massao Arena booed when Tala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelino Gorka didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Tala's Damaso Federigo got a free kick in the 84th minute. After 85 played minutes, Massao Arena's Bruno Arixo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Javier Venceslas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Massao Arena reached it. When Primitivo Ishmael came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Massao Arena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Ishmael couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute, one of Tala:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tala. The supporters of Massao Arena booed when Tala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Rolado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Massao Arena's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
