Hernan Lorencio might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeo Paublo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernan Lorencio ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Mario Rivas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cabana's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Rivas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Todor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Angel Velasco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. A collision led to Cabana getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Lino Izel hit a great ball. Valentin Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Amadeo Paublo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Rivas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Higinio Todor made a huge save. If Eugenio Nahia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cabana succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Fraga had controlled the match.
