Sergio Ederono hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Christian Endira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caspi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Endira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Paublo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 7 minutes into the match, Caspi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Izel came free, but Arnaldo Bonadona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Ederono in the 9th minute of play forced Cabana's goalkeeper Amadeo Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cabana getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Delmiro Ariando hit a great ball. If Christian Endira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mario Rivas came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Cabana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Rivas couldn't finish the play. Mario Rivas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Bonadona made a huge save. Amadeo Paublo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugenio Niva's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the game, Christian Endira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Amadeo Paublo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mario Rivas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Bonadona made a huge save. In the 28th match minute, Caspi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Pirmin to maneuver through the defense. Constantino Miro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Bonadona having to interfere. When Ambrosio Pirmin fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caspi FC's protests and gave Ambrosio Pirmin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Caspi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Pirmin to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Sergio Ederono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Ambrosio Pirmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Endira made a kick off. When Rolando Admon fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cabana's protests and gave Rolando Admon a yellow card for diving instead. Rolando Admon hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Bonadona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th match minute, Caspi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Ederono to maneuver through the defense. Amadeo Paublo was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Eugenio Niva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eugenio Niva really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Rolando Admon got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Cabana getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. After having played for 84 minutes, Juan Pudes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Pudes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Rivas in the 87th minute of play forced Caspi FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Bonadona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Izel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Bonadona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Rivas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Mario Rivas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cabana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Caspi FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
