Fraga's Higinio Todor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Fraga from getting a goal against them. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Pabla couldn't finish the play. C.A. Libertad's Germano Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Lorencio in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A. Libertad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hernan Lorencio was slow to take the kick. During this time Fraga's players had a chance to rest. In the 12th minute Hernan Lorencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Lorencio in the 21st minute of play forced C.A. Libertad's goalkeeper Germano Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes, Fraga's Eulalio Tercero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Germano Esteves came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fraga reached it. In the 25th minute Hernan Lorencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, C.A. Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Lorencio came free, but Germano Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Fraga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Cordarell to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Fraga's Cesar Stanislao got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute, Hernan Lorencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 51 minutes, Eulalio Tercero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fraga and the C.A. Libertad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eulalio Tercero kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With his leg Germano Esteves managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Fraga's Filiberto Pabla fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 62nd minute of the game Cosme Galtero made a throw-in which Jimeno Baldovino played forward. In the 70th minute Teobaldo Benat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Todor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, C.A. Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Nahia came free, but Germano Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hernan Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filiberto Pabla in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Germano Esteves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of C.A. Libertad booed when Fraga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Stanislao didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, C.A. Libertad's goalkeeper Germano Esteves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiberto Pabla. Higinio Todor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Benat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germano Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Lorencio in the 88th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Fraga's Hernan Lorencio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Germano Esteves. That made the score 0-1 after 91 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, C.A. Libertad's Alfredo Bernal got a free kick in the 94th minute. Fraga's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
