Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltasar Dalmu in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonatan Vimaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Cayetano Izotz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonatan Vimaro. Bulls Fútbol Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cayetano Izotz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 30 minutes, Olgierd Piechocki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Churqui and the Bulls Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute Manuel Niguel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordão Palhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olgierd Piechocki got free with Jonatan Vimaro in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Churqui supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Churqui would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
