Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5521, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 50) Fulgencio Indalecio made the kick off and thus started the match. With a little luck, Empedrado FC's Rodrigo Lixandro got control of the ball when Uno Ling tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute, Gabriel Goito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Francesco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Uno Ling could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Lixandro made a huge save. Uno Lings short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Rodrigo Lixandro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 25th minute Teodosio Oihan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Leo Atauri recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodrigo Lixandro. Leo Atauri showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Alvaro Francesco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Oihan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uno Ling got free with Rodrigo Lixandro in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alvaro Francesco came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Empedrado FC's Santo Clementi. But to his dismay, Santo Clementi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 43rd minute, Tomás Ariando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Uno Ling notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Empedrado FC's Rodrigo Lixandro. Rodrigo Lixandro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 66 minutes, Teodosio Oihan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Empedrado FC and the Golpess players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Teodosio Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68thth minute of the game Uno Ling who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Empedrado FC's Rodrigo Lixandro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Santo Clementi's late challenge caught a Golpess's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santo Clementi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Teodosio Oihan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alvaro Francesco was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Uno Ling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Rodrigo Lixandro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomás Ariando's late challenge caught a Golpess's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Ariando helped the player get up and apologised. Tomás Ariando hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Uno Ling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvaro Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Indalecio in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Goito in the 87th minute of play forced Golpess's goalkeeper Alvaro Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes of play, Empedrado FC's Santo Clementi made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alvaro Francesco was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Uno Ling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Empedrado FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Empedrado FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
