Jose Felipillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Silban in the 20th minute of play. Leon Quintan's late challenge caught a River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Quintan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd match minute, Cormoran f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Quintan to maneuver through the defense. Jose Felipillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Avellaneda in the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Victor Senio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Felipillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Senio in the 37th minute of play forced Cormoran f.c's goalkeeper Jose Felipillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Eriz in the 38th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Laureano Florian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Gogo Chap got a free kick in the 38th minute. Jose Felipillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Silban, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 48 played minutes Cormoran f.c got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Lazcano. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavino Eriz made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aureliano Uzuri during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aureliano Uzuri hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes Cormoran f.c got a freekick which was hit by Leon Quintan. Jose Felipillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Avellaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Cormoran f.c's goalkeeper Jose Felipillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Senio. Jose Felipillo came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate's Ovidio Silban. But to his dismay, Ovidio Silban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After some careless play in the Cormoran f.c defense, Victor Senio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Felipillo. The Cormoran f.c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Felipillo should have stopped the shot. Victorio Orain's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jose Felipillo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Cormoran f.c defense, Ovidio Silban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Felipillo. The Cormoran f.c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Felipillo should have stopped the shot. In the 76th match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Uzuri to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Leonel Lazcano notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of River Plate's Laureano Florian. Laureano Florian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Cormoran f.c booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Socorro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prudencio Bertol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gogo Chap was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 91 minutes into the match, Cormoran f.c's goalkeeper Jose Felipillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Senio. With a little luck, Cormoran f.c's Jose Felipillo got control of the ball when Victor Senio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Leonel Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cormoran f.c's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Lazcano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jose Felipillo was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Ovidio Silban capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ovidio Silban really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4.
