When Leonel Lazcano came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Cormoran f.c fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Lazcano couldn't finish the play. Arturo Dayam was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baldomiro Mikelats showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. After some careless play in the Cormoran f.c defense, Patricio Florin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Felipillo. The Cormoran f.c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Felipillo should have stopped the shot. After 46 played minutes Cavalango got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Florin.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danilo Inocente to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Cavalango's protests and gave Danilo Inocente a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 minutes of play, Cavalango's Casimiro Igon made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Gudesteo got free with Jose Felipillo in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 68 played minutes Cormoran f.c got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Lazcano. 69 minutes into the game, Cavalango's Casimiro Igon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jose Felipillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Gavino Eriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Dayam having to interfere. Patricio Florin hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Lázaro Boni notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Cormoran f.c's Jose Felipillo. Jose Felipillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
