In the 14th minute Carlos Lameiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Boruc Gniech cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ciriaco Hodei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Gonzalitos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cayastacito AFC:s goal. Carlos Lameiras placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 25th minute Justino Bidun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Hodei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Holm in the 29th minute of play. Mariano Katia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto Uxio in the 34th minute. A collision led to Gonzalitos getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Wilfredo Berart hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Gonzalitos's Ernesto Uxio got a free kick in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the Cayastacito AFC defense, Ernesto Uxio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Katia. The Cayastacito AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Katia should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ernesto Uxio made the kick off in the second half. Teo Ramond kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Carlos Lameiras came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Cayastacito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Lameiras couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Cayastacito AFC's Carlos Lameiras dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Andy Holm took a quick shot and it went in 5-3 without a chance for Ciriaco Hodei to make any attempt to save it. Ciriaco Hodei was a little too slow when Boruc Gniech got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 5-4. Wilfredo Berart scored 6-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariano Katia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciriaco Hodei made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Benicio Menendo sent off a good shot on target. Gonzalitos's Jaime Cordareo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Narciso Gregory, made in the 87th minute of the game. When Ernesto Uxio came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Gonzalitos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Uxio couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the game, Gonzalitos's Wilfredo Berart nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Katia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-4.
