Gualterio Gines sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 18 minutes, Tobias Milio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BETIANA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Milio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Quiroga struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Hugo Columbo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BETIANA FC. Eriberto Behe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Efrain Victoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hugo Columbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Columbo having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Angel Quiroga fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hugo Columbo, passed just outside the right post. If Angelo Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BETIANA FC's Calvin Masters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Behe in the 36th minute of play. Hugo Columbo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Angel Quiroga sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, BETIANA FC's Hugo Columbo threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Angel Quiroga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Casimiro Elodio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvin Masters having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Angelo Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Hugo Columbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Victoro in the 58th minute of play. Gualterio Gines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Calvin Masters tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eriberto Behe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Calvin Masters made a huge save. Tobias Milio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Románticos FC's goalkeeper Hugo Columbo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute Efrain Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Columbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, BETIANA FC's Angel Quiroga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Columbo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugo Columbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, BETIANA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Milio to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Milio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of BETIANA FC booed when Románticos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Rayman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Behe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Románticos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Urti came free, but Hugo Columbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Efrain Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Columbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Arturo Domenec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the game, Tobias Milio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BETIANA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Románticos FC the free kick. After 95 played minutes BETIANA FC got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Milio. BETIANA FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
